The DM-1000 series digital differential pressure/air velocity meters are the ideal digital instruments to replace traditional analog mechanical differential pressure and air velocity meters. Compared to analog meters, digital ones offer more powerful and flexible features, such as on-site programming to choose whether to measure pressure, air velocity, or flow rate. Additionally, the DM-1000 series digital differential pressure meters have a special feature: they come with alarm setpoints, making them especially suited for applications with filters. When a filter gets dirty, the DM-1000 will flash a warning to alert the user that maintenance is needed.

Programming the DM-1000 series is easy—just use the menu buttons to access four clear submenus, where you can set the safety level, choose engineering units, modify the K factor (for using different pitot tubes or flow sensors), set circular or square duct sizes (for measuring volumetric flow), change the filter setpoint, check the max/min peak data, set digital damping to smooth out readings (useful for fluctuating processes), enable advanced display mode (to save battery), and calibrate zero and span on-site.

The DM-1000 series digital differential pressure/air velocity meters offer 1% FS accuracy (for ranges above 2 W.C.) and 2% accuracy (for ranges from 0.25 W.C. to 1 W.C.). It supports multiple power options: you can power it with a 9-24VDC module or a 9V battery. When using a power module with the 9V battery installed, the battery acts as a backup, automatically powering the meter during a power outage so it continues running normally.
