The H3 series explosion-proof differential pressure switch is solid, reliable, and durable. Its patented unique design allows it to sensitively monitor differential pressures as low as 10 inches of water column (254 mm H₂O), while also withstanding a static pressure of 1500 psig (103 bar). Unlike other piston-movement pressure switches, the H3 series uses a rotating motion shaft, so the set point doesn’t change with full pressure, and the hysteresis is about 5% of the range. The range spring is directly connected to the diaphragm, minimizing friction and ensuring the best repeatability. The large rotating diaphragm design maintains an effective area, further reducing friction. There’s a pad behind the diaphragm, so neither the high-pressure side nor the low-pressure side is damaged even under a static pressure of 1500 psi (103 bar). A special over-range protection feature also prevents overtightening the range screw. There’s an optional 316 stainless steel housing for water, water-based liquids, or other harsh applications.
