With the CL514-PLUS platinum RTD calibrator, you can check and calibrate all RTD instruments and measure RTD sensors. Connections are automatically indicated on the display for easy hookup. Take it to the shop, factory, or field with confidence. It features a rubber boot and rugged slim-line switches for protection. Easy to operate even in dark areas of the plant with a backlit display. Stop carrying decade boxes and RTD resistance tables — calibrate directly in temperature (°C or °F). The CL514-PLUS accommodates a variety of RTD curves, including Platinum 100 (alpha = 3850, 3902, 3926) and 1000 (alpha = 3850, 3750) Ω, Copper 10 and 50 Ω, Nickel 100 and 120 Ω. Use the adjustable digital potentiometer “DIAL” to quickly set any value within 0.1°, and store any three temperatures for instant recall. Fast calibration with auto output stepping. Choose 2, 3, 5, 11, and 21 steps, automatically incrementing output by 100%, 50%, 25%, 10%, or 5%. Choose step time that matches your system: 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, and 60 seconds. Directly connect to RTD inputs of smart transmitters, PLCs, controllers, and multi-channel recorders, and verify their output or display. Measure and troubleshoot RTD sensor connections and find open wires. Connect a 2, 3, or 4-wire RTD sensor, and the CL541-PLUS automatically measures the RTD in °C or °F.
