The MPS30 melting point tester can simultaneously take 3 samples in an optimized heating block, with a high temperature of 400 ° C (752 º F). Including a high-altitude facility with a variable slope between 0.5 and 10 ° C (1 to 18 ° F) in increments of 0.1 ° C (0.2 ° F). Illuminate the tube with bright white LED to obtain a clear view of the sample during the melting process. The design of this block is easy to clean, and the front part of the head is completely detachable, allowing full access to the micro furnace.

The MPS30 melting point tester has a large transparent backlit alphanumeric LCD display screen and a menu system that can clearly guide you through the melting process through * * instructions. For each of the three sample tubes, up to 8 events can be recorded in the memory. MPS30 has a head up display, which is a unique feature that displays a block temperature fluctuation image visible through the eyepiece in front of the tube. Head up displays eliminate the need for users to switch their line of sight between tube and temperature displays.

In order to obtain a comfortable viewing angle, the MPS30 melting point tester has a 2-level head adjustment function. Then the head can be placed back into the main body of the unit for storage. The design of this device has many other useful features, such as a slot for storing pre prepared samples and a storage device for accommodating capillary vessels. The attachment printer can be provided separately to generate written records of the melt, and all units are provided with NIST calibration certificates displaying traceable individual serial numbers.
