The BB-4A blackbody furnace, infrared calibrator is a blackbody temperature reference source, adjustable within the range of 100 to 982°C (212 to 1800°F), to ±1°C, ±0.25% rdg.

The BB-4A blackbody furnace, infrared calibrator features a built-in digital temperature controller that provides accurate, stable temperatures and displays the cavity temperature reading.

The heating cavity provides a target with known temperature and emissivity; virtually any infrared thermometer with a spot size smaller than 22 mm (0.88 in) in diameter can be calibrated.

The compact, portable design enables quick and easy calibration setup. Standard with an RS232 computer interface for computer-controlled setpoints in automated testing applications. An NIST-traceable calibration certificate is also provided.
