BB705 Blackbody Calibrator Description

The BB705 is a blackbody temperature reference source adjustable from 100 to 1046°C (212 to 1915°F) with an accuracy of ±1°C and ±0.25% of reading. Equipped with an integrated digital temperature controller, it delivers precise and stable temperature alongside cavity temperature readouts. Its heating cavity provides a target with known temperature and emissivity, capable of calibrating virtually any infrared pyrometer with a diameter less than 44.5 mm (0.88 in). Calibration setup can be completed effortlessly with the BB705.

A separate NIST-traceable probe and high-precision panel meter supply temperature reference data. Both standard models come with a standard RS-232 computer interface, enabling computer-controlled setpoints for automated testing applications.
