Product Description
Monitor Temperature and Humidity via a Web Browser
The OMEGA® iTHX transmitter lets users monitor and record temperature, relative humidity, and dew point over Ethernet or the internet using a standard web browser — no dedicated software required.
The iTHX displays real-time readings on a web page, shows temperature and humidity charts, or logs data in standard formats compatible with spreadsheet or data acquisition programs such as Excel or Visual Basic. The virtual chart viewed on the web page is a Java™ applet that records charts in real time over a LAN or the internet. With the iTHX, users no longer need to spend time or money learning dedicated software just to log data or plot data trends.
Adjustable Charts
Chart scales can be adjusted at any time during operation. For example, the chart time interval can be set to one minute, one hour, one day, one week, one month, or one year. Temperature and humidity plots can be displayed over the full range (–40 to 124°C / –40 to 254°F and 0 to 100% RH) or over any narrower range (e.g., 20 to 30°C / 68 to 86°F).
Award-Winning Technology
The OMEGA® iTHX monitor is easy to install and simple to operate. This product uses OMEGA’s award-winning iServer technology, which runs directly through a standard web browser — no dedicated software required. The iTHX connects to Ethernet via a standard RJ45 connector and transmits data as standard TCP/IP packets. Using a web browser, users can easily configure the iTHX through simple menus with optional password protection.
From within a local Ethernet LAN or over the internet, users can type its IP address or an easy-to-remember name — such as “Cleanroom 5” or “Server Room” — directly into any web browser, and the iTHX serves a web page with live measurement readings.
Email Alarms
All OMEGA iTHX models connected to the internet via a LAN can trigger alarms and send emails to users or distribution lists anywhere in the world, including via SMS to mobile phones or PDAs.
Network Camera or IP Camera Link
The web page includes links to “network cameras” or “IP cameras” (cameras not included).
Sensors and Calibration
The iTHX transmitter is equipped with temperature and humidity probes for single-location measurement. OMEGA offers industrial probes in 2" (with 3’ cable) or 5" (with 10’ cable) lengths as alternatives to the standard stick probe for indoor environmental use.
Routine calibration can be performed without deactivating the iTHX monitor. The temperature/humidity sensor is interchangeable, and replacement cost is approximately equivalent to the cost of a standard calibration.
