The FOTRIC Flex allows the acoustic imaging array to rotate downward, so operators can observe things on the ground while standing, without bending over, which reduces pressure on the lower back and makes work more comfortable.

Raise your hand without feeling sour,Avoid shoulder injuries caused by high-level detection
User pain points:
High level detection (such as transmission line towers, utility poles, HVAC top ducts, motor upper parts, ceiling pipelines) requires holding the device over the shoulder, with continuous pressure on the shoulder joint, making it difficult to maintain posture.
Risk data*:
• A study by the University of Waterloo suggests that the risk of shoulder injury rapidly increases when the arm is above 90 °.
• If the proportion of time the arm is raised more than 90 degrees exceeds 10%, the risk will double. Over 40%, the risk is several times higher.
Flex Solution:
FOTRIC Flex The sound image array can be rotated downwards, allowing the operator to capture high-level target images without lifting the device, reducing arm fatigue and lowering the risk of shoulder injury.

Shooting from above is not tiring,Avoid lumbar spine injury caused by bending over for testing
User pain points:
Bottom equipment such as distribution cabinets, motors, cabinet bottoms, and ground mounted pipelines often require bending, squatting, or kneeling operations for testing, which not only limits movement but also easily causes sustained weight-bearing on the lumbar spine. Over the long term, the risk of waist injury significantly increases.
Risk data*:
• The international standard ISO 11226 states that when the proportion of bending operations is only 10%, the risk of waist injury has increased by 2.4 times.
• Up to 30% bending time, the risk is as high as 4.8 times.
Flex Solution:
FOTRIC Flex The sound image array can be rotated downwards, and the operator can observe the ground in a standing position without bending over, reducing lumbar pressure and improving work comfort.

Stay away from high pressure,Reduce the risk of arc exposure in low-level live detection
User pain points:
When detecting low level live parts (such as the bottom of the substation cabinet, SF6 equipment, and the lower end of the switch), operators often need to bend down and get close, which poses a high risk of exposure to arc flash zones.
Risk data*:
• According to the American Fire Protection Association standard, if the arc energy exceeds 1.2 cal/cm ², the level of protective clothing must be upgraded, otherwise it is prone to burns.
• When the operating distance is shortened to within 60cm, the arc energy increases exponentially, and ordinary protective clothing cannot stop it at all.
Flex Solution:
FOTRIC Flex Support remote observation of ground attached components without the need to be close to live areas, effectively reducing the exposure level of arc flash and reducing the burden of PPE wearing.

Smart Inspection,Solution for Audio Visual Data Collection and Management
